Your safety is our concern

With Jardine Distribution's commitment to partner Filipino farmers, the company is not only focused on offering farmers good and quality crop protection products - it also proactively provides them with sufficient information and knowledge to ensure the safe and proper handling of these products.  Our product launches highlight the features, advantages and benefits of the product as well as its effective and safe use.  We carry these out through speakers' lectures and video presentations.

JDI, through its trained and well-experienced agronomists and sales/marketing staff, ensures the dissemination of matters related to product strewardship.  Other than training, a safety campaign is a standard and traditional practice regularly tackled through a) farmers' meetings known as Usapang Agri, b) product launches; and c) other related activities like caravans, etc.  Jardine staff / personnel trained in the safe and effective use of crop protection products take the initiate to echo the acquired knowledge to farmers while performing their respective jobs.  These safety campaigns are a continuing thrust of the company - a vital component of its product strewardship program for the benefit of all concerned.

In line with the objectives of CropLife Philippines, Inc. - the trade association of companies in the plant science industry of which JDI is an active member - and in compliance with the standard policy set by the Fertilizer and Pesticide Authority (FPA) to educate farmers on the safe disposal of pesticide empty containers - JDI has  been continuously distributing safety posters / leaflets advocating the practice of Triple Rinsing and On-farm Disposal of Agrochemical Containers to pesticide dealers / stores.

With JDI's continuing efforts on Safety, Health and Environment (SHE), more effective programs will be organized and implemented in the future as its contibution towards ensuring the safe and effective use of crop protection products for the improvement of agricultural, public health and the personal comfort of every Filipino.
